Turboslim Chronoactiv is a weight loss product by French company Forte Pharma.  It is niftily packaged in similar form to Dentyne Gum…you slide the foil from the outside sleeve, revealing two rows of pills; one ‘Day Action’  and the other ‘Night Action’ with a contrasting orange and blue color scheme (orange for day, blue for night.) The premise being, Forte Pharma has created a weight loss regime that uses the body’s natural biological rhythms to both eliminate waste, and burn fat.

The ‘Day Action’ pill supposedly works thus: between 6 and 10 a.m. the magic orange pill causes bowel elimination (so schedule in a little potty time between those hours.)  At around 11 a.m. the pill will then kick in and fire up your metabolism into a fat burning phase until around 4 p.m.

The ‘Night Action’ pill apparently works thus: between 9 p.m. and 8 a.m. the following morning, the enchanted blue pill puts you into a ‘cutaneous (skin) firming phase’ and also slows fat storage.   So evidently your epidermis will tighten and tone itself while you sleep, and nighttime fat elves work overtime to prevent your fat from settling in while you’re catching your Zzzz’s.

This is clever marketing at its finest, folks.  A quick and convenient fix, in a sliding, non-bulky delivery system you can slip into your purse.  But will it work?   It may be cute, non-threatening and backed by ‘millions’ of French women, but are the ingredients any good?

We finally found it on ebay for $19.99 plus shipping.
  • Because you do not order it directly from Forte Pharma, you are subject to the return policy used at whatever business you purchased from.  If you buy it and try it, you’re probably stuck with it.
  • No dosage amounts were listed for each ingredient.  No amounts probably mean ineffective amounts.
  • None of the ingredients have been clinically proven in trial to work.

Conclusion

Look, if you decide to search around and find this product, you’ll likely be disappointed.  None of the ingredients really stood out and got us excited.  Sure Guarana will get your heart rate up (caffeine tends to do that), but it can also make you jittery and irritable. And some of the ingredients sounds good in theory, but who knows if you’re getting enough of them to do more than make your pee a vibrant shade of orange (if you’re lucky.)  Bottom line, I somehow doubt this product is the main component of French women’s slim figures and sexy attitudes.  (It probably has more to do with them not living in the Land of the French fry, Home of the Burger.)
