  • Green Tea is processed in such a way that its antioxidants or catechins (EGCG) are preserved in their original form for optimal effectiveness.  In other words, the good stuff isn’t cooked out during manufacturing.
  • Green Tea eliminates free radicals-nasty little buggers we both inadvertently create, and borrow from outside sources such as environment.  Free radicals are unstable molecules that wreak havoc in our bodies by removing electrons.  A bit like some of you on a Friday night after a few drinkies.
  • Green Tea has just enough caffeine to give you a ‘calm alertness’ without the jitters associated with coffee. 
  • To lose weight, diet and exercise is always necessary.  In trials it was found that the EGCG in Green Tea might interact with (quote) “a component of a leptin-independent appetite control pathway” (end quote), but studies would need to be carried out on humans to confirm.
